Who is RudeBoyz Official
The streets of the inner city can be ruthless and unforgiving; but they can also be a breeding ground for the kind of raw, exciting talent that has made hip hop what is today. Formed nearly two years ago, RudeBoyz Official has seemingly appeared out of nowhere to become one of the hottest, most innovative groups to spring forth from the dirty concrete of Washington, DC.
RudeBoyz Official musical tale has its roots deep in the streets of Washington, DC, a small city where everyone has BIG dreams. RudeBoyz Official Entertainment, LLC was the creation of two childhood friends, Jerome Williams and Carlos Mack, together they did whatever it took to make ends meet and put their label out there. Hella Grief aka Mob Barlee, Elijah Law and features from Kandi Girl along with the hit making producers Kenneth Webb aka Big Ken, D. Wright aka Big D and E. Hickman aka Jakes, just a small crew from the inner city created the formula that became RudeBoyz Official (R.B.O). The name RudeBoyz reflects the attitude towards their grind; a concept of the group which derived from their restless dedication to making money and excelling from one level to the next.

RudeBoyz Official started hitting the streets promoting their underground CDs; Hella Grief’s’ ‘Grief Stricken’ , along with RudeBoyz Official’s independent CD, ‘The Rude Awakening’ they performed at countless venues, and received spotlights on local access television channels. All of which earned RudeBoyz Official a reputation for putting on exciting shows; with the hysteria of the beat drop mixed with R.B.O chanting the hook, the performance of the underground song, “Gotta Get that Gwop” continues to cause sheer pandemonium.
With the murder of Co-CEO, Jerome Williams on January 18, 2008, the group has had to pull together stronger then ever now that leadership relies on one person.
When the members of R.B.O. chant, “I’m a Rude Boy, I’m a, I’m a, Rude Boy," they're not just rapping about the energy they produce on stage, or the vicious way they spit out their DC flow. They’re rapping about their swagger, their hustle, their grind. They’re rapping about their many struggles, the obstacles they’ve had to overcome, they're rapping about everything they do and everything they've become. Stay tuned for the new face of RudeBoyz Official Entertainment. With brand new talent/artists that range from R&B/ Neo Soul to Hip Hop! WE HAVE ARRIVED!!!
