The day turned to months and months turned into years
One's struggle became another mans fears
The population is now starting to see the affects
Of the word greed whether this season or the next
I'll just take my chances and say I speak for the best An hour away from home I work excelling just past the norm
Most are already sleep I sat at my desk preparing tomorrows worksheet
And it's there where I read the cut backs lay offs and 2 days shattered dreams
Most can't retire or even receive any type of pension most are honorable mentioned
But this is just a portion of a small pie sadden by this position I must play
Hired as boss and delegated to relaying duties based on this position
Friends expect more favors than the average or shall I say the usual
And even then I find myself abusing my time or company dress code
I was once told u get what u intend to offer and I gave my hard work 100 percent I take to the offering.
